What’s your Big Idea for 2013?

Forget New Year’s resolutions, if you haven’t already. What’s the one idea you really want to try this year?

At this month’s weeLearning we want to hear your ambitious plans for the year ahead. Maybe you need inspiration? That’s ok, that’s what these guys are here for…

dougbelshaw_editFirst up this month is Doug Belshaw , he’s the Badges and Skills Lead for Mozilla Foundation. Doug’s going to be talking about the Open Badges project.  It’s an exciting new way to give recognition for online achievements. Not content with writing his PhD thesis on the topic, Doug is also writing an e-book on digital literacy, make sure you check it out on his blog. Doug lives rather a long way from Bristol so he’ll be joining us live via Google hangout.

Next up…

andy nockAndy Nock  is Head of eLearning at RTS eSolutions who work mostly with large automotive clients . At last year’s elearning age awards he won Silver for “Best Use of Mobile” and was also shortlisted for “Best Distance Learning Programme”. Andy’s will be showcasing the work he’s been doing with Augmented Reality (but he’ll be there in the flesh).

After that…

It’s over to you. We want to know what new ideas you’d like to try this year. We’ll use your response to shape weeLearning events in 2013. If you’ve got something in mind, don’t keep it to yourself. The first step toward making something happen, is telling someone about it.
