For those of you wondering what weeLearning is all about:
- weeLearning is a free learning/networking event in the South West of England (usually Bristol & now Bath)
- It’s a relaxed get together for anybody interested in using technology to improve learning
- It’s aimed at people who work in education with children or adults of all ages, people who work for L&D teams in the private, public or charity sectors and people working for specialist learning or elearning vendors
- Anyone who is interested is welcome regardless of their background or experience
What’s in it for you?
It’s free, it’s fun, you’ll get to meet local people who share similar interests and discuss things you’re passionate about. Hopefully you’ll learn something new and make useful connections and friends, you may even be able to get help on a project you’re working on.
At the very least you’ll go away with a few new ideas.
What’s in it for us?
weeLearning is run by Dan Roddy and Sam Burrough. We do it because we benefit from all of the stuff above too. We both work as in-house eLearning types. This means the only time we get to hang out with like minded people is at conferences and seminars. We can’t afford to go to very many of these as they generally happen in London. weeLearning is a solution to that problem.
We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do.
